Amidst all that is happening, we know many of you have questions regarding the 2020 season. First and foremost, we want you to know we are monitoring the situation closely and continue to make your safety our top priority. Our Board is in constant communication, as well as receiving weekly updates from the City of Ralston.
At this time, we are following the national guidelines restricting gatherings of 10 or more through April 30, 2020. For RGSA, this means no practices or games until after May 1, 2020. As you are aware, things are changing daily, sometimes hourly, and we want to reassure you we are following those changes. More than anything, we want our girls to have the chance to play ball this season and today, our plan is to do just that. Once bans are lifted, our practices will likely be shortened so we can get game times scheduled. All Ralston City Parks and fields are currently closed. If you have access to your backyard or an open area and can safely execute social distancing, these next weeks are a great time to start throwing the ball around and gearing up for the season!
Our field clean up day scheduled for next Saturday, March 28, 2020 is currently being postponed. Please look for the rescheduled date soon!
Our Don & Millie's Caring & Sharing day is still scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2020 from Noon-9PM! This is a great time to use their drive-thru and mention RGSA when ordering as we receive 20% of the sales for that day!
Please continue to check our website and Facebook page for updates. We will also continue to contact you via e-mail with any changes. If you have questions at any time, please do not hesitate to reach out to us!
